Trump: Playing down the pandemic

 Donald Trump is a "stable genius" of sorts. He is a genius at lying and disinformation. Until he is caught on tape, of course. His facility with lying is impressive. He is all about "winning" and "winning" is about getting what he wants, be it power, admiration, money, or indulging himself with sex or food. If how he goes about "winning" is distasteful to the public he covers it up with lies. This is how he wants to treat the Coronavirus epidemic. It is inconvenient to his re-election so he lies about it and people die. This is shocking in a man who is supposed to run the country and care  about public good. It becomes so much clearer that Trump just cares about Trump. To Trump the 330,000,000 Americans are just pawns: "suckers" and "losers".

The two, now deceased, justices of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia had an unusual, yet true friendship.
