Donald Trump: "It is what it is."
Trump's "I alone can fix it" failed miserably and at the expense of nearly 160,000 lives and a wrecked economy. Trump's ignorance and arrogance has proven deadly. He did not bother to get informed on the Coronavirus from the scientists. His pathetic attempts to tackle it with disinfectants in the human body showed utter ignorance. Trump ignorantly proclaimed that it will "magically disappear". He was promoting magic over science. To Trump it was just another lie, no big deal, among the thousands of lies he told. Politically he got away with lies. But a virus can not be lied or bullied out of existence. It is a deadly enemy. You play with it at your own risk. Trump's "virus hoax" was proven painfully wrong. What we are learning from the Vanity Fair expose of July 31 was that a federal plan for testing headed by Jarred Kushner was intentionally scuttled.
