  Donald Trump demonstrates power by humiliating and defeating others. To Trump power means a crude and cruel infliction of pain. The image below is how he is imagined leaving the Oval Office. This is both funny and sad. Trump can't admit he is a loser. He is dependent on the adoration of others to feel good. Astrologically, this is indicated by his Saturn being in conjunction to Venus and also quincunx to his Moon. He risked millions of lives with his insane rallies because adoration was more important to him than the lives of those people. It is no accident that Coronavirus is spiking in places he visited and that over 130 Secret Service agents tested positive. Trumpism has become a death cult. Trump has been dislodged from the summit of power. For an insecure narcissist it must feel like death. He is rage tweeting and denying that he lost. The Republicans are afraid to confront him.   Donald Trump is a "stable genius" of sorts. He is a genius at lying and disinformation. Until he is caught on tape, of course. His facility with lying is impressive. He is all about "winning" and "winning" is about getting what he wants, be it power, admiration, money, or indulging himself with sex or food. If how he goes about "winning" is distasteful to the public he covers it up with lies. This is how he wants to treat the Coronavirus epidemic. It is inconvenient to his re-election so he lies about it and people die. This is shocking in a man who is supposed to run the country and care  about public good. It becomes so much clearer that Trump just cares about Trump. To Trump the 330,000,000 Americans are just pawns: "suckers" and "losers".  It is curious that these appalling facts came to light on September 9, 2020. Jesus said in John 14:6 : "I am the way and the truth and the life". In 2016 Trump said repeatedly : "I alone can fix it". Are there direct parallels between these statements? Is Trump making himself into a modern day messiah? Is he inspiring fervent devotion in his base? I think the answer is yes. Dr. Justin Frank M.D. on The Thom Hartmann Program identified this as "God complex", an unconscious delusion that he is invincible and omnipotent, which Trump actually believes. This is a break from reality and therefore psychotic. His base joins him in this delusion.   Since a substantial fraction of his base are Evangelicals, the jump from devotion to Jesus to Trump is not a far stretch.
