Trump politically weaponizes Coronavirus
Yes, we are living in strange times. Perhaps the strangest of all are the leaders we "elected". Is it all a cruel joke? And perpetrated by whom or for whom? These are perplexing questions. The tragedy is that many more lives will be lost because of these misguided leaders. Trump is attempting to weaponize the Coronavirus pandemic to deflect from his ineptness. He is throwing the blame on Democratic governors, WHO, Obama administration, scientists, health care workers stealing supplies, the Chinese, and whoever else he can find. He is extracting praise for his performance from the desperate governors. He is seeing to it that shortages are not in red states and that his base is not too disturbed by mitigation measures. Trump's news conferences are hardly more than self-promotions. They must be music to the ears of those who love what he stands for.
