Donald Trump: Pushbacks

 A significant astrological exact transit of Mars conjunction dwarf planet Eris is coming on August 15-17, 2020. These two planets will be square Trump's natal Venus conjunction Saturn, his sensitive spot. The conjunction of Venus and Saturn means that Trump never feels he gets enough of love and approval. It is an insatiable need and a deep existential wound. The transiting Mars conjunction Eris hitting this spot means that Trump's ego is likely to be bruised by some outside action.

Previously, when Mars and Eris met on February 6, 2019 Trump had to contend with the newly elected Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. It was the day of his SOTU speech in Congress when Democratic women protested by wearing white, the color of women suffrage. And then there was the famous clapback by Nancy Pelosi behind him. Trump got outplayed by women. 


Mars Conjunction Eris seems a fitting archetypal energy for this event. Trump ignored Pelosi and did not wait for her to introduce him, which is the protocol. Eris in mythology refers to a goddess who threw a fit because she was excluded from a party. Conjunction with Mars means that the feminine rage will be expressed through some aggressive action.

The transiting Mars will stay in the powerful Fire sign of Aries for an unusually long time - until January 2021. It will retrograde a few times and contact the same spots again. We could say that Mars is cruisin' for a bruisin'. Hopefully more of Trump bruisin'.

Another notable transit was that of Mars to Trump's natal Eris. It happened on July 8-9, 2020 and it coincided with Mary l. Trump's book being released and SCOTUS deciding that Trump's taxes can become public. These actions exposed more of Trump's outrageous behavior.

On May 12, 2020 transiting Mars directly opposed Trump's natal Mars conjunction Ascendant. This was the day he was triggered to fire off a record breaking 125 tweets in a 16 hour period. He attacked Obama, Comey, Yates, Clapper, Mueller, 60 minutes, Jimmy Kimmel and Chuck Todd, among others.

The transiting minor planet Chiron (the wounded healer) is square Trump's natal Mercury at this time. This likely means that Trump's thinking (Mercury) is at odds with healing. We are witnessing this daily as Trump goes contrary to scientists' advice on Coronavirus. Since Chiron is a slow moving body this will be in effect through January 20, 2021. With the exact on August 17, 2020 Trump will probably just double down on his resistance to science. From the Vanity Fair expose we know that this is intentional and not just ignorant. This, I believe, is a crime against humanity.

Addendum: August 19, 2020

Well, she is back! She said on August 16, 2020 that she will call the Congress back for a special session to deal with the USPS crisis.



Pelosi was not going to let Trump get away with kneecapping the USPS. Now his appointee is reversing course in fear of going to jail. The pushback worked. And Mars-Eris again showed up in the form of Nancy Pelosi, a powerful woman who is not going to take it from Trump.

Another wallop to Trump was from the Senate Intelligence Committee that reported on August 18, 2020 that Trump encouraged Russian interference in the 2016 election. "Russia hoax" is a hoax.

Incidentally, Trump's brother Robert died on August 15, 2020.

The two, now deceased, justices of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia had an unusual, yet true friendship.
