Election 2020: Forces at Work
In 2020 are we going to become a satellite state of Russia? We will, if Trump and Putin get their way. Putin's bots and trolls are cocked and loaded. The games are on. We may not know exactly how the future will play out, but we could look at the planetary energies that will be in play on election day. Which energies are strong and which ones are waning? Planetary energies affect us on the unconscious level. Collectively we are influenced, some people more than others, with overall mass mood and priorities shifting. Different archetypal energies dominate at different times. Richard Tarnas compiled historical evidence in his book "Cosmos and Psyche" of how these energies, especially energies of the outer planets, parallel history. The strongest concentration of energy in this chart is the triple conjunction of the outer planets Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. This energy is again amplified by being at the tip of a T-square configuration (red triangle) with Mercury and Mars. It seems that a war (Mars) of messages (Mercury) will be funneled into the Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto energy structure. We can easily imagine that the propaganda war emanating from Russia will be very intense and that Trump's lies and distortions will only increase. The quincunx (green line) of the North Node and the Moon to the triple conjunction indicates that many people (North Node) will be involved on a very feeling level (Moon). Venus in Libra (scales of justice) quincunx Uranus may indicate that women (Venus) will feel especially rebellious and will demand change (Uranus).
The triple conjunction of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto represents energies of contraction (Saturn) and expansion (Jupiter) tightly flanking the transformative energy of Pluto. The country is in a very tense state with social divisions pulling in different directions. Since Jupiter is 1 degree from Pluto while Saturn is 4 degrees, I believe that the energy of Jupiter will dominate. We may be witnessing a shift from the negative mood of contraction and fear to the more expansive and benevolent energy of Jupiter. The fact that these planets are in Capricorn will make them behave in a more restrained way. The Democratic challenger is unlikely to be an extreme left wing candidate. Saturn-Pluto conjunction energy will peak in January 2020 when it is exact. We can expect the right wing political power to peak then and to start waning thereafter. But this does not mean that a war or other cruelties done in our behalf could not happen. Threat of war and cruelty are Trump's weapons of choice. He wants us to feel threatened and frightened. But what about the dwarf planet Eris? The newly discovered planet of discord will be sitting at 23 degrees 49 minutes of Aries on election day. That is 1 degree from exact square to Pluto and 2 degrees from Jupiter. As Pluto in 2020 changes its apparent motion from direct to retrograde and back, it will square Eris exactly a few times. Jupiter, and early on in 2020 Saturn, will also be in exact square to Eris. 2020 will not be lacking in drama. In 2016 Trump's and Putin's natal planets were activated by the transiting Eris. Now in 2020 as Eris retrograded back to its approximate 2016 position, it will again activate the natal planets of Trump and Putin. This makes sense since the same two people are again involved.
