As Trump continues to destabilize the world through reckless actions, are we headed for another war? Does Donald Trump have it within him to cause violence and mass destruction? He did say that a nuclear war is winnable. When we think of the most destructive leader in world history we think of Adolf Hitler. With Hitler we know what he was capable of. With Trump that is still unknown and that is what I wish to address. Is Trump driven by similar subconscious motives that drove Hitler? Trump and Hitler both tapped into the racial grievances of the White masses. When the economy is not serving people they tend to want to eliminate those they see as competition. For Hitler Jews, Gypsies and other "lesser" ethnic groups were the targets. For Trump it is Muslims, Latinos and Blacks. Both employed brutal tactics to inflict pain on these minorities. When history of these times is written the US Senate under Mitch McConnell will have another stain on its reputation: the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. How can a man who has been credibly accused of sexual assault by Dr. Blasey Ford and who has committed perjury be a judge on the highest court in the land?
