El Paso: Echoes of Trump
With Donald Trump in office the US is each day descending deeper into his insanity. His influence is getting stronger with his control over the Senate, DOJ, possibly intelligence agencies, DOD, cabinet loyalists, right wing media, etc. His base is becoming more unhinged with each rally.
When horrible things happen in the world like El Paso, they do not happen by logic or reason. Their source are primitive emotions that break through civilized defenses. Trump is appealing to the unconscious. He is stoking fear and hatred of the other to incite his base. He appeals to the basest emotions. It is what inspires him.
It so happens that the collective unconscious reflects the energies of the planetary bodies in our Solar System. We are primitively attuned to the energies of the planets, fixed for each of us at our time of birth. We express these energies unconsciously throughout our life, unless we take the trouble to become conscious of them. They express mostly in our attitudes toward other people.
Mark Twain is credited for saying that history does not repeat itself, but it often rhymes. If we examine history astrologically, as Richard Tarnas has done, we discover planetary alignments that relate to historical developments. The seminal historical figures reflect the collective mood of the times.
