Trump's attorney Sidney K. Powell promised to "release the kraken" through her election lawsuits. Kraken is a "sea monster in Scandinavian folklore that emerges from the sea to devour its enemies". However, all the lawsuits failed due to lack of evidence. This does not deter Powell who claims that the vote counting software is the same as used by Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.   No amount of racism can change the US racial composition. The USA is a diverse country and that is reality. The original sin of slavery was due to greed. Without thinking of the consequences, wealthy Southerners brought in hundreds of thousands of slaves. Slaves were treated more like livestock than human beings. Their human rights and equality were denied at every turn. White slave owners wanted the wealth, but did not want to live alongside their slaves. Selfishness and greed is what brought in slavery. The two, now deceased, justices of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia had an unusual, yet true friendship. They managed it in spite of being most often on the opposite sides of the Court's decisions. For RBG the issue that was of prime concern was the equality of women. To her equality meant that women should be in charge of their bodies. She wrote: "The state controlling a woman would mean denying her full autonomy and full equality." Antonin Scalia certainly had no such concerns. He never strayed far from the teachings of the Catholic Church which are based on a patriarchal society of 2000 years ago.
